All new instructors undergo a comprehensive training program conducted in New York or at a designated Frozen Ropes Training Center — and you’re paid while you learn the curriculum.
Baseball Instructor
Part-time
Teach players of all ages. New instructors are paid during an initial training period to learn our nationally recognized teaching curriculum.
Requirements
Detailed knowledge of baseball
Willingness to teach within a system
Excellent communication skills
Enthusiasm and a love for the game
Available select weekday afternoons–evenings and/or weekend days
Experience as an instructor or coach preferred
Responsibilities
Instruction for all ages in group classes, camps, private lessons, and parties
Training and adhering to Frozen Ropes instructional philosophies
Knowledge of all Frozen Ropes programs
Use of the scheduling and video analysis systems
Daily projects including opening/closing procedures
Our AAU baseball program holds tryouts in August, practices weekly through fall and winter, and competes in spring and summer. Qualified candidates can also instruct in our year-round training center — separate responsibilities and compensation.
Requirements
Experience coaching at the AAU or similar level preferred (1 year)
Detailed knowledge of baseball
Excellent communication skills
Enthusiasm and a love for the game
Responsibilities
Assist the head coach at practices, scrimmages, games, and team events
Provide input on team selection at tryouts
Represent Frozen Ropes at regional AAU meetings
Travel to weekend tournaments (expenses paid)
Follow the Frozen Ropes travel team coaching guidelines
Our softball travel teams compete in USA Softball, NSA, and USSSA tournaments, with weekly practices from late fall into early summer. Qualified candidates can also instruct in our year-round training center — separate responsibilities and compensation.
